Student Employment
There are several positions available for students at the MSU Broad Art Museum, all majors are encouraged to apply.
K-12 Engagement Team
K-12 interns gain experience facilitating art engagements with youth visiting the MSU Broad Art Museum. The primary responsibility of the K-12 Education Team is to lead gallery tours, family programs, and school outreach for the museum.
Exhibitions Student Assistant
Exhibitions Student Assistants assist with the design and production of exhibitions and the maintenance of work and gallery spaces. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in fabrication, design, ideation, installation, and project management through working on a variety of exhibitions.
Gallery Guides
Gallery Guides help keep the museum operating on a day-to-day basis. As a Gallery Guide, you’ll receive behind-the-scenes training, guide our visitors through their experience, and represent the museum within our community. Students interested in this position should return completed applications by email to Dana Steiner, Visitor Services Coordinator, at steine58@msu.edu or in-person at the museum front desk.
